The world’s tallest skyscraper at 509 metres, this 101 metre structure’s design was inspired by the traditional Taiwanese pagoda design. The Taipei 101 has become a symbol of Taiwan’s modernity and a celebration of Taiwanese culture. Every year on New Years Eve, fireworks shoot from its sides, illuminating the sky and providing a unique visual experience. Ascending the towering structure inside the 67km/h lifts, once you reach the top floor observatory the view of Taipei city and beyond.

Taiwan has long been a world leader in electronics, with its flagship brands of Asus, BenQ and Acer representative of its status as one of the world’s most advanced technological powers.
